Alejandra Ramirez is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Nambucca Heads Australia and originally from Colombia. She creates mixed media work using photography, installation, painting, writing & fibre art. With an interest in the various forms of language and the creation of meaning, she is intrigued by concepts of perception, representation, the relationship between the sensorial and the rational, memory, and the different layers of reality in relation to human experience. She has exhibited and created work in Colombia, Australia,Nepal, Malaysia and Indonesia.
